Choosing the Right Pet Stairs

Measure the height of your bed or sofa before ordering. The top step should provide a comfortable transition to the intended surface without leaving a large vertical gap.

Although the structure is rated to support up to 20 kg, the manufacturer recommends the stairs for small and miniature dogs weighing under 10 kg. Follow the lower recommended pet limit because the width and depth of the steps may not provide enough room for larger dogs.

These stairs are best suited to pets that can use individual steps confidently. A gradual ramp may be more suitable for dogs with significant balance, joint or mobility difficulties.

Care and Safety

Place the stairs on a dry, stable and level indoor floor. Make sure they are fully opened and cannot fold or slide before allowing your pet to use them.

Inspect the frame, folding mechanism, stabilising feet and carpeted mats regularly. Stop using the stairs if any component becomes loose, damaged or unstable.
